The process

VM Logistics: The process in 10 simple steps:

 

    1. PlanningThe customer informs us by email which goods need to be loaded or unloaded and when. VM Logistics schedules operators and assigns the correct warehouse.


    2. REGISTRATIONThe driver reports to reception with a customer name and reference number.


    3. WEIGHINGThe truck is weighed on the weighbridge.


    4. UNLOADING OR LOADINGThe truck is unloaded or loaded in the appropriate warehouse.


    5. WEIGHING OUT The truck returns to the weighbridge and is weighed out. The difference between the two weighings is the goods that are entered or written off in the inventory system.


    6. DOCUMENTS The driver receives the signed consignment note and, if necessary, an annex 7 document.


    7. CHECKThe goods are physically checked and placed on location. If desired, photos can be taken of the products.


    8. PROCESSING If necessary, the goods are pressed, sent to the shredder or packaged or repackaged.


    9. ENTERING DATA The stock data is entered into the warehouse management system and into the environmental accounting.


    10. SHIPPING DOCUMENTSDocuments are forwarded to the customer by email. If desired, customers also receive a stock report so that they are always informed of stock changes.
